It's an historical hindu temple. It got an marvelous historical background. Temple is open twice in year. 3-5 days during HOLY and 1-2 days during hindu new year day i.e yugadi. Large que is there to worship God RAMALINGA. Take sufficient water and snacks with umbrella to avoid temperature. Better to visit early in the morning. Do proper planning for visit. Better to avoid infant's with you. Temperory shelter provided by temple administration to avoid sun rays

Usually couples who are not having children come here to pray kamanna , ‌ Temple authorities will give basinga to keep in home.After wish fulfilled you have to offer siver cadle to temple. Normally this will be done for 3 days up to holi I think. This year holy is on 10 th March .
