Orion Retreat

I visited that place in March 2021 with friends. The place is close to nature... we explored nearest waterfalls, pine trees. It is most peaceful place near Darjeeling. Staffs are very good and foods also. If you love peace and adventure please visit this place .

It was a disaster. Left the hotel within 30 mins of check in. Shabby area. No electricity and no power back up. Very poor room , just basic. I don’t know what kind of people gave the hotel the good reviews. It’s 0 rating for me but I cannot give 0 here. Did my booking from make my trip and this hotel did not have a refund policy from the beginning wherein all hotels have this policy. Please don’t visit this hotel. You will repent. It’s a cheap and a shallow hotel and NOT for standard people. There is nothing to do there. Luckily I got another hotel in Darjeeling today.

Wonderful location, food too good, even though it's close to the highway but natural environment. Will definitely visit again.

Worst service and maintenance. We stayed here (Cottage Aries) for one night on 1st April 2021 and they made us April Fool. They provided us damaged and broken bed in the room and non functioning geyser in the bathroom... blankets and towels had some caterpillar. Even there were many caterpillar roaming on the floor. My son used their towel and got rashes through out his whole body for those caterpillars. So I never recommend anyone to stay here.

Quiet and serene place to stay. The noise of the nearby road don't come here even if it is just 50 metres away. The cottages have very basic facility with geyser. The owner and the staffs are all nice and helpful people. You might be lucky to find some wild deer roaming around your cottage in the adjacent jungle.
