This fort was built to defend the city against enemy attacks. This historic structure has witnessed six major battles that took place between 1700 to 1800. Eventually, the British took control of the fortress in 1819.nPresently, Bhujia Fort is in ruins and the government is taking care of the restoration work. There are two main entrances and a couple of buildings that tell the tales of medieval India.
