Rolling tree-topped hills provide a beautiful backdrop to this family friendly destination. Clean and clearly of newer construction, the lodge and cabins create an inviting atmosphere. Lots of trails for both walking and biking and a great playground make this a great getaway for the entire family. Clean and we'll kept bathrooms throughout the park are definitely a plus in my book. My family and I will definitely come back. We didn't get to see any of the wild horses this trip. Next time we'll be bringing our bikes and fishing poles, as well as a cooler of food. There were several picnic and grilling areas to choose from.

We had a lovely three day weekend here. The loft cabins are beautiful, clean and roomy with nice decks and comfortable outdoor furniture ad grills! Well stocked kitchen and friendly staff at the desk, shop, and restaurant. Awesome getaway⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Top notch lodge accommodations. Beautiful lobby and veranda. Clean, comfortable room. No cell service whatsoever. WiFi available inside the lodge only. Park trails were clearly marked, gorgeous views, unspoiled wilderness. More State and Natl Parks all around for further exploration. 30 minute drive to a town with small stores, restaurants. The lodge dining was better than restaurants available in the nearest towns. I can’t wait to go back.

My favorite state park in MO. Something for everyone - walk-in camping, RV/camper camping, lodge, and cabins. Plus the restaurant at the lodge has amazing food, great service, and even better views. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a beautiful newer park. We camped in the campground. Be aware because it is so new there is not an ounce of shade. The lodge is close by as well as other cabins to stay in. There is no cell service but WiFi is a plus at this campground!
