The lord Shiva temple is located at shamshan or shamashana it is location where the dead bodies are buried . It is the only one single place for the burring the dead bodies. It is also called as rudhara bhoomi. It has also a rudhara Shiva temple or Shiva temple. Shiva Rudhra Temple is located besides the gataprabha river. And Shiva Rudhra Temple and burring place is located nearer to main market or Gandhi circle MUDHOL. The Shiva Rudhra Temple is the old temple but it is now reconstructed with new architecture design. And Shiva Rudhra Temple is located beside river flow or small bridge. The Shiva Rudhra Temple is located near to Mudhol city area. The Shiva Rudhra Temple is closed at night time. No one will go at night time to dead body burning place so the Shiva Rudhra Temple will be closed. The single and one and only dead body burning place in Mudhol.
