Bharat Mata Temple

really a nice temple

I must say- you can't miss this place from visiting once you are in Varanasi.nThe Country India has been humanized as mother in this temple. An amazing stone carved map of India is worth to cherish.nOn this map , rivers and mountains of India with all longitude and latitude have been mentioned.nThere is a picture of Bharat Mata- Mother India is also displayed.nThere is a little corner , where you can buy souvenirs like magnets, maps, books etc.nDon't forget to have a walk around the temple and take pictures of outer exteriors of this temple.nTemple also has a big garden you can sit sometime and relax.

Bharat Mata Temple is dedicated to Goddess Bharat Mata.Or Motherland it was built before independence and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. It is surrounded by a small garden. There is a art school near it. The building which houses the temple is nice and built on a platform. Currently the temple is closed due to COVID-19 pandemic. You can visit the temple to feel patriotic and spend some time in the garden which has beautiful plants.
