One of the Twin Temple in the area. One belongs to Lord Maruti and the other belongs to Basavanna, the consort of Lord Shiva. There is also a temple dedicated to Hemareddy Mallamma. During Bhadrapada Maasa a special Jatre (festival) takes place here. And it is worth watching. The festival is known as Hatara Jatre. The priest beats him self with a sword several times. No blood oozes out from his body, nor he gets any harmed. We came to see this festival. Other than that we don't know much about this temple.
