A national park in Wyoming, famous for its spectacular geysers, hot springs, and other geothermal features.nnAmerica’s oldest national park, Yellowstone covers nearly 3,500 square miles (9,000 square km) of forest, grassland, mountains, lakes, and canyons. It contains the greatest concentration of geothermal features in the world, including geysers, colorful hot springs, and mud pools.nnHeat supply.nYellowstone’s geothermal activity results from the fact that part of the area rests above a huge underground chamber of magma, which serves as a constant heat source. The features are arranged in distinct areas called geyser basins. Upper Geyser Basin contains around 150 geysers, including the famous Old Faithful, and several colorful springs. Many of the geysers erupt more than 100 ft (30 m) into the air. Plentiful rainfall seeps through Earth’s crust and is heated by the magma chamber, providing a continuous hot water supply for the springs and geysers.nnGeological diversity.nRugged mountain scenery, deep glacier-carved valleys, waterfalls, canyons, and rich wildlife are among other interesting features of Yellowstone. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as well as two waterfalls on the Yellowstone River, constitute some of its most dramatic attractions. Considered the world’s largest intact ecosystem in the northern temperate region, Yellowstone is home to many large mammals such as American bison, wolves, black and grizzly bears, and moose.

I have no words to describe how beautiful and amazing this place is. Please make a visit for yourself and you will fall in love with how beautiful this place is. I cannot wait to make this a tradition with my family for years to come. Highly highly recommend.nnHelps tips: if you’re camping outside make sure you come prepare with your winter outfits and blankets. The temperature drops drastically at night. You’re going to be 8000 ft high so be prepared. It may be warm during the day but it’s winter weather during the night so keep that in mind.nnAnother tip: the park is huge so you will need at least a week to explore the entire park. It’s definitely worth it though. So go and enjoy your time. There’s lots to see.

Took us 19hrs to get here. Definitely worth the drive though. We loved the experience. Highly recommend. Pack cozy clothing. Gets pretty chilly at night. Enjoy!

it's a great national park it gives great service to our wildlife and people who stay there. The cabins are great but small. The Lodges have great rooms and great ice cream. The trees and the thermal features are beautiful. Old Faithful shoots out a lot of water and is the largest most predictable geyser. Yellowstone is great that has a lot of pine trees and everything to me feels perfect. The air feels great there it's not humid for once because I live in Missouri.

Yellowstone has so much to offer. The landscaping is just beautiful. So full of wild life, every time I have been to the park I see animals and it makes it really exciting to see them in their natural habitat. The Gazers are amazing, and so interesting. The canyon and the falls are majestic and a must see. Love this park.
