One of the best place for Higher education in Biological Science

This place is a Post graduate department of Biosciences, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. It offers M Sc and PhD degree programs in various branches of Biosciences viz Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology.nThis campus also bears a sports complex and playground with volleyball, basketball, tennis courts and an Olympic size swimming pool established by Sardar Patel University.nThe lush green, forest like campus was a barren land reclaimed by 10 ft landfilling. The Department of Biosciences was shifted here from main campus in 2005. Due to efforts of Dr Reddy, a faculty member of the Department, ably supported by the staff and students a green campus, as it stands now was developed.nThe campus has more than 250 trees, including 70 plus different species. It is a host to a big biodiversity as recorded in last three years. This includes around 80 birds species, 70 plus butterfly species, 75 plus spider species and many other insects, rodents, snakes, flowering and non flowering plants etc... It has a small canteen and is a nice campus to visit
