I love Pineto

The strong point of the Pineto - Atri railway station is the spectacular view of the pine forest and the sea ♥ ️ plus it is located right in the city center which makes it very connected to everything else and particularly accessible. In the last few years it has been expanded and modernized: there is a paronamic lift, the access tracks to the tracks for bicycles and the disabled .... the only two "flaws" that do not allow me to assign a full score are the fountain with the sundial that has been standing still for some time and in a state of neglect and (more importantly) the two automatic ticket machines that often malfunction and block. Such a pity! Hope they resolve soon

Extraordinary station. Near the center of the village. On one side you can see the pine forest overlooking the sea! Station equipped with waiting room, three tracks, underpass connected to the beach and self-service ticket offices.
