Nice team and hospitality but bad wine. We had wine tasting of 4 white wines, all were from day before and had poor taste and smell.

Excellent experience! The property was so beautiful to stroll around and the tasting was well approached. We brought home wine and olive oil. The oil is my go to for guests and we'll be ordering more.

Great experience!! Unfortunately there were no available spots for the day that we came for a wine tour, however Fabrizzio (one of the owners) was kind enough to let us in and let us walk around. He recommends to try and make a reservation if possible. He also provided some wine tasting and small tour of winery celler (cantina) for absolutely no charge. The wine they produce is definitely worth to try. We could not resist and bought a bottle of smooth white wine. The property also is extremely well maintained (extremely!!!). There are endless wine trees and even some fruits, also a pool that we noticed. The views are gorgeous and personel was so welcoming. We had an awesome time at no cost (aside from purchasing a wine bottle)

I have neither stayed nor used the restaurant of this relais, but I went there to buy the wine as it was recommended to me by the owner of the structure where I was staying. The impression was excellent, both of the structure, immersed in a magical environment and with attention to the smallest details, and of the cellar and, last but not least, of the professionalism of the person (I think one of the owners) who welcomed us at the reception. At home I tasted the wine (Bracaleta) and I had confirmation of the excellent impressions I had had during my short stay in the structure. The passion and care for one's work can also be gathered from a "simple" bottle of wine. Compliments

A very beautiful villa in the heart of the Maremma. We stopped in a real Tuscan wine estate at Relais Villa Acquaviva, located 800 meters from the pretty medieval center of Montemerano. This house has excellent facilities. The property's room is decorated in rustic Tuscan style, surrounded by 15 hectares of vineyards, and has a large bathroom. This estate produces wine from the region, from Bianco di Pitogliano to Morellino di Scansano. You can taste it in the wine cellar of the Relais Acquaviva, the wine and the oil produced by the estate. You can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool located on the beautiful grounds of the Acquaviva. There is also a tennis court on site. The hotel's Limonaia restaurant offers views of Montemarano and the swimming pool, and offers homemade Tuscan dishes made with products grown on site. A charming villa awaits you in the charming and refreshing Tuscan Maremma. Thanks to Fabrizio D'Ascenzi for this visit and to the Mamma for the cooking.
