Public garden named after Silvio Geuna, a partisan freed in 1944 after he was sentenced to be shot. He was a deputy in the Constituent Assembly and in the Chamber of Deputies; he was involved in the Municipality and was editor-in-chief of the Rai information center in Turin. The green space is well maintained. There are some benches to sit and rest.

The 2008 public green garden in the area between Largo Re Umberto, via Caboto and via Lamarmora was named in memory of Silvio Geuna, a very important figure of Piedmontese resistance to Nazi fascism. Catholic observant and committed, as a partisan, he served as the head office of the Liberation Committee and in 1944, captured by the fascists, was sentenced to be shot which was not submitted because it liberated by partisans. He was then deputy to the Constituent Assembly and to the Chamber of Deputies and Councilor to the Municipality. I was lucky enough to meet him when he was a senior professor of religion at a high school in Turin. Silvio Geuna was a person of great human and cultural depth, but simple, direct and always positive. The Garden that has been dedicated to him keeps his memory alive and, a little like him, if you want, it helps to reflect calmly.
