Ristorante Pizzeria Nonna Maria

A nice surprise touring Sicily. At Nonna Maria we found the best in hospitality. The friendly and polite staff welcomed us as if we were family. Once we sat down, got a drink, we got advice and tasted what the house offered us. The fish dishes were delicious. What can I say, from appetizer to dessert we were pleasantly satisfied. Not to be missed. Thanks to all the staff of Nonna Maria.

Long and unnerving waiting. We arrived at 9pm and ordered around 9:30 pm. They brought me the rustic house appetizer that I had ordered at 11:45 pm (I'll spare you the photo because it can't be defined as a dish!). We were a group of 10 people who wanted to have dinner together, but it was not possible despite being asked several times to bring the dishes that were missing. First they brought the four pizzas. After a long wait, when the friends served had already begun the digestive phase, they served, at intervals, the other 6 people; I think the grilled fish for the last person arrived at about 00:15 as if they had gone to fish for the fish to serve! When we complained about the service, the owner justified himself by saying that the dishes were not served all together because there is no communication between the pizzeria and the kitchen ....... I, in his place, I would also have avoided pulling outside such an excuse, denotes a very poor organization and lack of professionalism. I hope that with experience the young owner will improve in the management of the restaurant, because they had spoken well to me about the quality of the food, but I have not had a chance to see it! I specify that the guys who served the tables were kind and polite. A tip: turn down the volume of the music, because if you go out with people, you also want to have a chat during dinner!

The environment is clean and welcoming, the staff is very nice and available to meet customer needs. I tried both pizza, with high quality ingredients and high digestibility of the dough, Congratulations to the pizza chef Ludovico! I also went on the occasion of lunches or dinners during the holidays and also the cuisine is of excellent quality, fresh fish, delicious and abundant dishes, the meat menu is also excellent. congratulations to Chef Gaetano! Highly recommended also for families with children for the presence of giochi.Spesso area are organized evenings with musical entertainment. Indoor parking available.

Fantastic New Year's Eve, spent in this wonderful restaurant in the company of friends and relatives. Cozy restaurant with professionally trained staff, friendly and attentive waiters, excellent menu offered this evening but in the past I had already enjoyed the delicacies prepared by Chef Gaetano . I also hope to return soon with all my family in this restaurant called "Nonna Maria" where I had the immense pleasure of sharing the evening with my grandmother Maria in person. Matteo
