The poorest dinner experience ever that cost us €45, where we stayed hungry and had to look for another place to eat. We could give more stars for wine, which was really good, but the rest of the experience was horrible. First, we went for an octopus salad as a starter. At €8 for a portion - it was mainly octopus head peaces, not tentacles, and loads of pickled carrot. Not tasty, but edible. Then, for main I have ordered a grilled calamari. I was served 1 (ONE!) calamari and a bunch of lettuce. The dish was priced at €10. When I cut the calamari, the gooey substance came out. It was not cleaned inside, undercooked and smelled raw. I put my plate aside and never touched it. My parter ordered a platter of grilled sea food at a price of €14. It came as a platter of 2(TWO!) prawns, 2(TWO!) sardines and 1 (ONE!) small calamari. Both sardines smelled like they were out of date, with no skin and rotten intestines. Calamari was undercooked and with same gooey thing inside. Prawns smelled ok, but by texture you could guess it was not fresh at all. We also ordered as a side fried potato. It came obviously cooked a while ago and just reheated in microwave. Both main dishes returned to kitchen not eaten. Of course we refused to have a coffee or desert in this place. There was no apology neither from waiters nor from the chef.

Fantastic fish place in Porto Empedocle. We visited during the lunch time so it was not full but the food was more than delicious. Caponata con pesce spada is just unforgettable, pasta, fried fish. Everything was great so we really enjoyed. Thanks to all the team! Ci vediamo presto.

In front of this restaurant, it is the bus stop where you can take the bus returning to center, Agrigento. While I was waiting for the bus to return, we tried to have cup of coffee. But they did not open yet, around 11:00 AM. But the staff or owner were friendly and kind. I am sure it must be good restaurant.

This is a typical restaurant, the interiors are beautiful and the location is very close to the sea. Most of the dish are very good. The fish is fresh and you can understand this from the taste of the raw shrimps they serve as starter. The spaghetti with cuttlefish's ink is tasty and it is made with black spaghetti, which help to give a pitch black colour to all the dish. I would recommend this. However the salad with seafood was not good and the service is very, very bad. The waiter let us wait 20 minutes before asking us for the order. The guy wanted to be friendly, I guess, but the way he replied to our questions was not professional at all. While we were talking to him, he turned to talk with other guests without considering us for long tens of seconds. This is very impolite and unprofessional. Moreover the food came out after long time, we spend more than 1 hour before receiving the starter. Yes, the place was busy, but a restaurant must be prepared to serve in time even at full capacity. After we complained about the delays, magically all the further dishes arrived within minutes... Main drawback of this restaurant is the service. The quality of food is more than acceptable. Conclusion, I may come here but I am not sure if I will recommend it to you.
