Dinner of 12 July 2020 ... still few tourists on the island unfortunately ... at least 70% less than in July 2019 (when there were 16,000 presences ... today there are only 5,000!). .. but a well-run restaurant with all the AntiCovid precautions ... obviously fresh daily stuff ... excellent preparations both raw and cooked ... possibility to cook your favorite fish instantly and even the first courses- expressed! The flavors and aromas are very good. .. excellent and very tender bread and wines ... very apt choice! Prices? Less than half of all other restaurants on the island ... to keep an eye on. ..🐟🦀
What to say .... I was there tonight and I have to say a few things positive and negative ...... the first the wait, until 22:30 there is a large queue of people, you have to take the number and suspect your turn. The second being of the hawks to take the place to sit down. The third is that whatever you take will make you pay by weight and all at the same price, obviously the highest. Positive note eating is great and fresh.
We were bewitched by the genuineness, kindness, honesty of Gianni's Gastronomic Fish Market. Many delicious offers of first, second and appetizers, take-away or to be consumed on the spot, with a view of the new port. We went back every night of our stay in Lampedusa!
