It is such a good place in an ordinary seaside town. Actually, a restaurant on the pavement along a narrow street. However, it is teeming with people and a place is hard to find. We managed to book a table one day ahead. Unfortunately, we were very hungry to take photos of everything.

Good fish restaurant, reasonable prices, sea food was a little bit salty. Anyway, I recommend this place if you are nearby.

Sicilian history on a plates and excellent eating.... first plate caponata, very village has its own version....capsicum grilled, pigeon with potatoes from the Spanish and raisins ... possibly the Greeks brought raisins to Sicily.....small deep fried fish a benefit of the Moors ....and carpaccio of small prawns, red prawns, red tuna and sword fish... Second plate, small tuna, rocket, almonds from the Romans and tomatoes ..from the Spaniards ... Dessert... is best describes as a peaceful explosion of Etna in chocolate form....this is Sicilian food of the people served in a sophisticated atmosphere ....the staff, pleasant and helpful....

Get the mixed appetizers and the raw appetizers selections. They are wonderful and so fun to try lots and lots (and LOTS!) of little plates. The mixed seafood pasta was amazing as was the fondant dessert. The staff were so accommodating of our family on a very hot day and made our kids feel completely welcome. This is the sort of restaurant you came to Sicily hoping to find, so don't miss a visit if you are in the area (or even if you aren't, it's worth a special trip). Make sure to reserve - we almost missed out on a visit since we hadn't booked in advance. They do have ample outdoor seating for stragglers like us, but on a hot day, you'll want something inside.

We got a recommendation from a Sicilian friend to visit this restaurant as one of the best seafood restaurants in Sicily. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations nor its price range. The crudo seafood platter had small slices of red tuna and white fish sashimi, 1 scampi, 1 large red shrimp, 1 gamberone and a couple of table spoonfuls of marinated small shrimp. Of the lot, probably the red shrimp had any flavor and was properly sweet. The rest was bland and safe like you’d expect seafood to taste in an American chain restaurant. Mains were local grilled fish. Tasty and clearly fresh but unfortunately both overcooked to the point when they were mushy. Accompanying potatoes had more flavor.
