Avoid this place. We tried to get lunch here. It was well within the kitchen open hours and despite there being a few tables free we were simply told “No”. No explanation, no pleasantries just “No”. We ended up next door (delicious pizza - you should go there instead) and noticed that some groups after us were seated no drama. In 8 weeks travelling Italy this has been the only time we’ve been rejected from a restaurant for seemingly no reason.

We just love it!!!! We ordered octopus and potatoes wich now I don't remember how to say it in Italian. That was for Antipasti, then Camila ordered Spaghetti a la colatura di alici and I ordered Ravioli with tuna stuffing and a lemon sauce. It had tomatoes and olives as well. House wine and some sparking water. €47.50 wich we didn't find crazy expensive. But let me tell you something that freaking pasta was out of this world. Colatura di alici is just crazy good. We had no idea what it was when we order, and yes is a strong flavor, but is so good. Yes they didn't speak the best English , but we manage. So far loving Cetara.

They are totally under staffed, one waiter to the whole restaurant. Very poor English language which resulted that you didn't get what you ordered. Food is very ordinary.

Last nights dinner her was amazing. Not only did each course go beyond the next, but the flavors were fresh out of the sea. Each course included plates from fresh catch just of the boats a few feet away. The catch ranged from shrimp, prawns, cuddle fish, octopus, and tuna just to name a few. The house white wine complemented the seafood dishes fantastically. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an Italian meal cooked with the ingredients caught just a few feet away. Also the fresh pasta was amazing beyond comparison to just regular pasta. Just amazing and a lovely dinner is all i can say .

Bad food - the appetizer tasted as straight out of the freezer and microwave. Awful service - the waiter didn't speak English and brought us the wrong food. Terrible ambiance - full of loud and obnoxious American tourists
