No question that we have left friendly Italy and moved into the autonomous region of South Tyrol. We stoped at this winery/grocery shop where the owner offered to fill our 12 litter water can. Only after did he charge 6 (!) Euros.

A very nice shop, fine, small and totally warm. This is where half the place meets at noon. That showed us that even the locals like it. We were invited to the typical South Tyrolean wine tasting and were allowed to try all the wines. The price corresponds to the quality and everyone who thinks about northern Italian wine should definitely stop there. We will be back!
