Unlike many Italian stations, Prato is unique in having operational lift/elevaters at every platform for your bags, buggies/strollers and/or wheelchairs albeit assessable etc, first time I have seen this in Italy! There is also a small cafe to the side with reasonable price as per date of writing this and fresh bakery cuisine, although mostly very sweet. Its a relatively small station with approx 7-8 platforms. Unlike many Italian stations, Preto is reasonably easy to navigate and the clear signs. You can connect at this station if you want to visit Bologna. There are ample buses directly outside the front of station. Also a taxi rank on the right had side as you exit station.

Station with definite flair for this small town. There are seating areas. It's a shame the use of toilet costs €1.

Prato is a nice place to visit. There are a huge number of Chinese people, so you can get some really decent Chinese food in Prato.
