Yet another typical Italian train station. Regional services only. It looks shabby

Small station without staff and without the possibility of buying tickets on site. The ticket must be purchased before or directly in the train advising the conductor. The station is convenient for those who live in Lucca west and do not want to look for free parking in Lucca station or for those who do not want to pay for parking in Lucca. Unfortunately Ripafratta cannot be reached by frequent public transport and it is better to have the car to reach it. There is a covered area under which to shelter in case of rain but there is no waiting room indoors, as the inner rooms are key locked. The overall appearance of the station is quite negative.

Small station with a number of parking spaces at the front. Ideal if you do not want to enter Lucca or Pisa by car. There is no ticket machine at the station. You must buy your ticket online or on the train.

Malconcia station with the tickets machines broken because of the immigrants who, in my opinion, go there to sleep.
