Glad we made the special trip out to Canicatti for this family run restaurant - one of the best places we’ve eaten in Sicily. The food was high quality and delicious coupled with a calm relaxing vibe.
The food here is absolutely amazing. We didn’t just try the red meat, we wanted to try the sea food too, which this restaurant is so well known for! The selection of local wines are next to perfect, with refreshing fruits and deserts, to end the perfect meal. The staff here are extremely accommodating and would not stop until, 1 we were full (in true Mediterranean spirit) and 2, until they knew we were completely satisfied. I would strongly recommend you pay Gola a visit. The owners are lovely and the food is a reflection of their love for food and hard work in being the best in the area.

A wonderful surprise is being in an intimate, clean and welcoming environment. The management is familiar and the cuisine gives almost forgotten taste pleasures. You feel the touch of the mother.
