A surprise! A very beauty and nice lady meet us at the door . And she was so helpful. We only wants vegetables for lunch. And we got maverlous things to a very low price. Very good! Love to this place😍❤❤❤❤❤

I was looking for pasta after going uphill with my bicycle. Several people indicated my this local place. The lady that welcomed me was very nice and helpful, even though my Italian is far from ideal. Had a pasta with asparagus and pancetta (bacon-like). Very good, tasteful. With bread, 7€. Would come back in a heartbeat !

While we were on our way to Pantalia we found ourselves casually passing through Sortino at lunchtime. Google indicated most of the restaurants and pizzerias in the country closed at that time. The only possibility seemed to be the Via del Gusto, a denomination that bode well. After parking along one of the narrow streets of the town, we headed towards the restaurant. The place is small and welcoming, preceded by a tiny bar at the entrance. The owner welcomed us with the proverbial courtesy and hospitality of the Sicilians, who made us sit down, worrying about turning up the heating in the room, being out a day still with winter temperatures. The menu represented just what we felt the need: a series of vegetable based appetizers, each tastier than the other. That would have been enough but we also wanted to taste a first course based on vegetables that satisfied the palate. There was no room for the dessert, but in order not to deprive ourselves of yet another pleasure, we decided to order it and take it away with us. In conclusion, an excellent menu, based on fresh, healthy and seasonal ingredients, excellently presented and with the taste of (good) homemade food. Friendliness and sympathy to season everything. An experience to remember. Good girls.

The restaurant is small, but welcoming and you can breathe a familiar atmosphere. Traditional dishes well cooked and abundant. The owner is very kind and courteous.
