The aesthetics of the place betray the excellent quality of the food (in my opinion unparalleled, having tried all the pizzolerie in Sortino) and the courtesy of the owner (a guy to know), as well as the friendliness of his wife. The gentleman and lady in the oven know what they are doing. The baked potatoes with capuliato are spectacular. If you go to Sortino, you know where to go. I recommend you to book. Arrived we sat at a table a little distant from the pizzeria. The place (outside) is not the best, we were under a canopy decorated with three plants, surrounded by dirty tables left like this until the end of the evening. The table left a lot to be desired, aesthetically it was not very good. In front you have only the plate turned, the forks, the glass and the paper napkins you have to take them yourself, the tablecloth is a simple plasticized paper. The wait for the menus was eternal .. the waiter came to take orders but we had no menu! The latter is very vast and confusing, I was unable to choose a Pizzolo due to too much confusion and vastness. The waiter, with his mask down and dressed in the house, had a behavior that was not appropriate for a pizzeria, he wanted to choose what to do for us (around pizza or other). Being a pizzeria located in Sortino, a city loved for Pizzolo, the expectations were high and others obviously were not met. The food arrived after a long time, we sat at 22:15, we ate at 00:15, by the way the pizzas / Pizzoli arrived with half hour intervals, some finished eating, others had yet to start . Pizzolo, which is actually a maxi pizza, had a very hard dough .. We also need to talk about the freshness of the products .. one thing I noticed is that in the menu the capuliato replaces the fresh tomato in most dishes, being a preserve it does not go bad ... From here you can understand the freshness of products .. The owner also made trouble to split the bill, insinuating that it would create confusion, consequently we had to pay in the Roman style. The prices were exaggerated for the product served. Surely one of the worst places to eat pizza, I strongly advise against it.
