Nice place

My review refers to August 2020, it may well be that the situation is different here in "normal" times. The inside of the station itself was always closed on all of my visits, there was also no way to buy a ticket there (you can buy this directly from the conductor on the train or via the Trenitalia app). For a one-way trip to Sassari you pay 1.90 € in both cases - by the way, exactly as much as for the bus to this destination, but the train ride only takes about 15 minutes (bus: about 30 minutes). However, only 2 or 3 trains a day leave here, all in the morning. In the evening there are the same number of arrivals from Sassari - that's about it, the rest of the time the station is literally dead. This station is probably mainly useful for people who arrive or depart from Porto Torres by ferry, because 2 minutes further there is another, more inner-city train station, where even more passengers get on. With a change in Sassari you can get to Cagliari or Olbia (both terminus). And if you want to see the Sardinian interior, I would definitely recommend such a train ride.

The abandonment of the previous station is incomprehensible: more central, with more services and albeit a few meters ahead, better integrated into the city. Empty station, no ticket office, apparently unsupervised

A greeting before returning to the continent. A memory full of magic, scents of past lives that crossed. A land. My land that welcomes everyone to relax. Good life. Here, sunset from the GNV ship.

The station is always closed, entering it and not seeing anyone gives a sense of desolation. The trains that leave or arrive are very few. There is not even the possibility to buy the ticket through the automatic ticket machine. Bad idea to build two train stations.
