Beautiful, serene and a joy to wake up in. An incredible location from which to explore south east Sicily. The host was extremely warm and helpful. The pool and cottage are immaculate.

Hard to find place, but recommended by locals for a very good reason. The location has a very cozy atmosphere and is very well maintained. The food is incredibly good. The pizza Vulcano really made me want to come back to try the rest of the menu. The staff speaks a little bit of English. This is handy for those usually relying on Google Translate, because you don’t have mobile internet inside the building. However, be careful when following Google Maps! The (currently) default route from Giarratana leads you over roads that are only accessible with a big 4WD. The right way to get to the restaurant is by taking a right just after leaving Giarratana on the SS194 and then following the signs.

Peaceful, surrounded by nature, woods & streams in a 300 year old farmhouse to enjoy the absolute best local Sicilian cuisine hosted by gentle, friendly locals......the true essence of Sicily!
