Railway station located on the Catania - Caltagirone - Gela line serving the homonymous urban center, equipped with two passing tracks plus a third trunk type. The station as well as the entire line (single track and not electrified) are obsolete and not up to the role that the railway carrier should play in a modern territory such as Sicily is not

Railway station located on the Catania Caltagirone Gela line. In the past it was provided by various services such as the loading area and the goods warehouse which was used for the transport of citrus fruits the limit gauge. It is remote controlled by the DCO. The entire line could be improved beyond the station. The automatic ticket office is missing. In the second half of 2018 it underwent maintenance.
