I would like to say to those who have not been happy and especially to the local guides, not to demonize any activity that can receive immeasurable damage with a single negative experience and consequent bad review, perhaps of impetus, talk to the owners, express your disappointment , offer advice and anecdotes with grace, but do not negatively mark the work and commitment of many operators. We must promote, not demolish, especially in this period. That said, Terra di Venera restaurant deserves more than 5 attributable stars. It is not widely advertised although it has American and worldwide customers. The owner, kind, friendly and welcoming person, has an incredible dining experience behind him, which is evidenced by the beautiful photos of famous faces scattered here and there on the walls. Outside you can breathe a beautiful fresh air, panoramic views, play facilities for children and not, animals such as parrots, geese, ducks, horses, etc. Large parkings with centuries-old olive trees.We are talking about large spaces.Ideal for weddings and large conferences and events. Inside, a large living room with wooden roofs and floors, where a beautiful and functional modern fireplace dominates the center. Ask for a nearby table when booking, for a romantic moment. Modern cuisine with Chefs they deserve, positioned in sight (Only few can afford it, believe me). Quality food, well-stocked wine cellar for every palate, taste and pocket. You can breathe elegance and refinement even from the presence, of the two splendid daughters of the one owner controls the kitchen the other the dining room, ensuring the success of your stay. I was struck by the exclusive bathroom coverings, doilies dipped in porcelain! I am a romantic, I love these details, like the piano, which plays by lowering the keys by itself. There is so much to say ... but I don't want to take away the pleasure of discovering them for yourself. We were looking for a farmhouse with swimming pool a stone's throw from home and from the photos on the site we immediately decided to go there to relax two days. But it was not so'. The non-existent swimming pool, I would say more than a slightly larger pool, and to finish it off, the room we were assigned was dirty and full of ants. At that point we decided to leave. A big disappointment
