We chose this place to explore the Umbrian province by accident, just poking our finger at the map on Google. I was lucky to come to the town in mid-October. In the daytime, several excursion groups of Italian tourists arrived by bus, in the evening and at night the old city belonged only to us. Living here remains one of the best experiences from Italy.

For a family outing or a few days of relaxation. Starting point for getting around and visiting characteristic places, which are not lacking in the vicinity.

A town perched on a small promontory that is reflected on Lake Trasimeno. It certainly has its own personality won over in the latter. The administration evidently had its role in the choices. Castiglione is now waiting to be visited by everyone ..... Its port, its well-kept promenades, combine to make it a peaceful destination for everyone ..... Its gastronomy and its oil will satisfy your palate, in a harmonious context. The scent and colors will make your stay unforgettable ..... When you can, drop by and never refuse a slice of ham when they offer it to you, because you would miss a piece of Umbria .... unique ..
