Shared by our b&b host. Was one of the best experiences in Sicily. Reserved a table on balcony, very beautiful and typical Sicily decorations. Food is great quality, very fresh and clean seafood, service is great. Oysters and mussels are super clean and tasty, as well as red prawn. But I feel the starters of 22 euro set is quite a lot, suggest small main course or share with more people. Fall in love with the food!!!

Just hidden away off the main street up some stairs but so worth it. Beautiful setting and even better food, especially the seafood. Feels like you should be paying more for the experience as it’s around the same as others in the area but this is quality over quantity 👌

In total, during our Sicily holiday we visited eleven restaurants across multiple cities and Ristorante La Scala was one of the better ones - we had starters and seafood. The highlight was the semifreddo, a clear recommendation. The indoor seats are very nicely located, the only downside is the service, which is was good but can be improved a little bit, it was very slow and the leftovers of other guests stayed at their tables for > 1.5 hours after they had left the restaurant. In summary, a very good restaurant with recommendation.

Nice environment and food was good (not brilliant though for the price you end up paying). It is an upscale place, although not obvious from the menu stand on the street... We were well served, but things take some time in here (in case you are time limited)
