When you leave Campania you give up the idea of ​​eating a good pizza, especially when you spend your holidays in a small village in Molise. But Mother Pizza makes you think again. By pure chance we come across this pizzeria ... It will be because the place outside was nice, it will be because they make pizza pala (the Roman one to be clear, served in slices on long and very crunchy wooden cutting boards) and therefore no attempt to sell flying saucers or punctured tires for pizza, will it be because on Saturday nights you eat pizza, so I take a look at the reviews and I'm impressed, will it really be that good? I confirm: EXCELLENT !!! The restaurant is very simple, with the possibility of eating outside. They bring us the menu and at a first reading you immediately notice a wide choice of tastes and a careful search for ingredients. Matteo, very kind, explains what pizza pala is, and gives us some tips on what to choose, apologizing in advance for the absence of some ingredients but with the promise that we would not be disappointed (we ate very late). Up to three flavors can be chosen on each pizza peel (about 15 small square slices). Their pizza has nothing less than what you might find in a renowned focacceria in the neighborhoods of Rome: high, well leavened and very crunchy, with every bite it is a real explosion of flavors and the dough practically melts in your mouth, leavened and cooked to perfection. I will not dwell on the chosen flavors, but I recommend trying the one with the hazelnut sauce and if you have room for dessert try the pizza with Nutella: a cliché, but you will be struck by its lightness and flavor. I thank Matteo and all the staff for the culinary experience that they made us live yesterday with the promise that they will definitely see us again !!!

Madre pizza is a pleasant rediscovery of the Roman-style pizza pala in the streets of Campomarino. We discovered this place walking in the morning, and I was attracted by the sign outside that said "pizza pala". We decided to give it a try that same evening: excellent. Crispy, light and tasty pizza dough. The ingredients are of excellent quality and in season (the owner Matteo, at the time of ordering, kept to specify that on some pizzas certain ingredients were not available due to seasonality, this reveals the care and research of the products), light seasonings, right in quantity. A choice that I would make 100% again, even for the price. Personally I loved the Spontanea pizza with hazelnut and chicory cream, a perfect match, and the Perfetta, but the other flavors were also really yummy. Highly recommended!

Excellent pizzeria in Campomarino village. Surely one of the best pizzerias in the neighborhood. Cool and informal environment. Especially in the summer it is advisable to book well in advance. Their specialty is pizza alla pala. An evening spent at the "Madre Pizza" pizzeria is an evening well spent. Average prices.

When you arrive in a place you don't know you are like a blind man who reels without horizons. Then after a long way you stop in any place and discover home. This is what we felt with these guys. They accompanied us in the Molise culture, making us taste typical dishes and a great crisp and soft pizza at the same time, tasty without being greased, it is said that the best pizza is Neapolitan, but this is celestial. Excellent pizza a pala, also known as the "Roman" quality ingredients with a simple and fast service, average price. I dined here with my family, we were happy because several pizzerias in the neighboring areas try to imitate the classic Neapolitan pizza without success instead Madre pizza offers a different and genuine product differentiating itself from all. The owner is helpful and you can see that he puts his heart into what he does. I highly recommend tasting this light and delicious pizza!
