Last night, I found a restaurant a few kilometers from Gallipoli, where you eat fish caught of the day every day, so everything is fresh.
The owner Germano (who is the cook) of an extreme kindness, he feels the passion, love, and respect for the raw materials.

We had dinner in this restaurant in the air-conditioned indoor room (certainly cooler and more well-kept than the outdoor one). Friendly and discreet staff but the real surprise is Daniele: the waiter! He explains in detail everything that brings us to the table from wine to individual dishes! A passion that cannot be ignored! Snapper with sublime crazy water as well as spaghetti with mussels! Kindness and foresight are at home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
Delicious food and great service.
We got linguine with lobster on the advice of the waiter (catch of the day) which cost us € 50 (!!) - so I recommend avoiding the off-menu or inquiring about prices before ordering. If the waiters had been honest they would have warned us but alas we are in southern Italy :)
All in all, however, an excellent restaurant even if aligned with the prices of Gallipoli despite being slightly out of town.
Excellent restaurant 10 minutes from Gallipoli, in front of a beautiful park where you can stretch your legs after a meal. The fish is excellent, fresh daily and very well cooked. The portions are generous. I recommend listening to the staff for the dishes that vary every day according to the catch.
Great food at prices that are now difficult to find around. Location like a restaurant in the village but still well-kept, helpful and courteous staff, good food and fresh fish, excellent wine recommended by the waiter. Thanks, we will definitely be back
