One of the best local restaurant on the eolian islands. Despite of Tavernella is on the main turistic street there are a lots of local people. The prices are very good but the food is awsom and better than in more expensive restaurants. There aren't waiters in white collar. Tavernella is run by local women. After one visit I was returning there every 3 next evenings on a dinner.

Had the stuffed sardines plus stuffed eggplant, white wine and stuffed cannoli. Felt sufficiently stuffed afterwards. All were delicious. Service was fast. Good to choose items in display case. Great value and large portions.

The menu for 16€ was well worth is!! This was one of the best restaurants that we visited in Sicili :)
