Trattoria Del Bollito

Simple but the best in town!!

I have been in Barolo since October 9, 2018. Everywhere we ate in Barolo, La Morra, Serralunga, etc, had dinner/lunch plates that looked like Picasso himself carefully put them together and brought them out to our table. While it all tasted good, nothing was really hitting the spot for me. I wanted to eat home style food, Nona's food, something that was not necessarily engineered by a team of 5 architects to look good. We found Trattoria Del Bollito and I had absolutely, no questions asked, by far, the best and tastiest meal thus far during our stay in the region! I asked our waitress to translate that to the chef and he laughed out loud and told us I only said that to get a discount :D. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Best ever fresh pasta 🍝 big choice of wines as well! Must go if you are visiting Alba.

Nice small Italien restaurant serving good traditional food and lokal wines. Don 't expect to find a multi-language menu or turist prices at this place.
