Landed here on a train from Ljubljana. The place looked almost deserted, with no one around. Absolutely calm and horribly quite. Fortunately, bus no. 4 was available, so I did not had to wait longer. The view from the bus of the Trieste city is very nice.

Plain and ordinary. However some one had helpfully put up signs in 3 languages on how to get to the town centre and to Trieste.

Very empty station building( not staffed) Far away from the city centre even the town centre of Opicina. Bus 4 from Trieste oberdan to the main road and a short walk. Trains goes to Ljubljana daily. Check timetable on DB website Tickets available onbroad

Main train station to get to bled, you buy your tickets an the train so not much can go wrong. Trains run on time so don't be late.
