Thatch Hill River Park

Lovely park to relax and enjoy nature. Have a picnic and enjoy the river.. However be prepared for the final leg of the journey to get there, a vehicle for off road is best suited. It's worth the journey.

The thatch hill river park is excellent location to chill with friends, family and by yourself..the ambiance is relaxing and the park has the necessary facilities for comfort and peace of mind... the kitchen area can be used by patrons to cook or prepare food items. The venue closes its gates at 5pm, due to fact that there is no flood lights on the property for night viewing... overall, the park is a great attraction with an awesome river available for persons to swim and just to get a splash..

Its a beautiful, clean and spacious environment thats perfect for family or group trips. The water surrounding the property is extremely cool and refreshing, I could stay in it for days. We also utilized the football field but there is also a section to play volleyball as well. At the time we went rafting on the river was closed. Having music and food with you is a plus and its highly recommended. The staff were very accommodating, warm and helpful despite the short reservation notice.

Had alot of fun, nice river and lawn to chill. Lifeguards are attentive. Road isn’t the best though but it was worth it

This place is super fun, has a wide open ground. Will be going back.
