I am a little lost here, because I had an appointment to do my biometric processing and when I got there they were closed I could only speak to the security. I don't know what is happening, I'm just confused! When you call it's in vain there's no one to speak to. They need to do better, show a little more care.

If you are going to have your Biometrics taken, for the love of all things sensible don't just walk with the Biometrics letter and the passport as required. Be the overachiever and carry everything you can print out - the submission letter, the payment receipt, the application letter and the passport. Set an appointment sure but don't expect to go in at that time. 3 hours later and you may get lucky and get to go inside to wait some more. No need to get dressed up or rather ensure that you wear comfy shoes (comfy 3 hour standing and waiting shoes). If you are going alone, I recommend bringing something to distract you from the fact that your life force is draining away. I suggest a podcast or audiobook. For Podcast I suggest Jesus and Jollof and the audiobook is just so you don't have to hold anything in your hands as you will definitely be tired. Expect zero information or clarification from the security guard, who will spend all his time clearing the walk way and the stairs or ensuring that no one leans on his glass. Lastly, ask whomever you believe in for strength, endurance and lots of patience before heading to this place. Oh and carry snacks.

Apparently a new company took over and since they relocated to the Haining Road location, the service has been horrendous. Making an appointment is seemingly a waste of time because you will not be served in the time slot you booked. I was informed that persons were there waiting for 4+ hours to no avail at the time of my visit. I experienced the utmost displeasure of speaking with the most impolite security guard who behaved as though he owned the establishment and was aware of the day to day operations of the VAC. The front desk individual was quite unpleasant and very dismissive. It was there I was told they only had one person working. Yes ONE. Because everyone was at lunch. The lady that initially took my information, though quite polite and friendly, unfortunately did not fully grasp the system which caused further delays. All in all, the worst interaction with a VAC and a process that should have taken me only 15 minutes, took 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete.
