Come prepared to wait. With Covid-19 there's a 3 fold process: 1. Set appointment date (can be done over the phone but the #s rarely work) - this takes about 1/2-1 hr to purchase record at the tax office & provide the receipt at the Police Records Office for an appointment date & time to be given to you (this process could be automated with a Calendly or Google Docs online form). 2. Come at scheduled date and time and wait to bring in your documents etc. This takes some time. Schedule 1 hr . 2. Come back to pick up the certificate at appointed date. There's a dropbox method where you resubmit your receipt & wait for your name to be called & certificate found and given to you. This takes some time. Come very early at about 8am and schedule at least 1 hr. It can take longer however. In short BE PREPARED TO WAIT! The officers are professional and try their best, but they are understaffed & I presume don't have all the technological support needed to make their jobs easier and the process faster.

How can you pay for express which is $6000 dollars and get an appointment date a month and a half after You have paid and other people that pay the regular price got an earlier date before me?? Then I was told that express starts the day after the appointment date, that does not make any sense whatsoever because it’s called express for a reason.

Wish they would intimate the public when they change office location.

For me the services good staff was courteous .

They need to train their staff. They have very low professionalism. The directions are not clear when you get there and even worse when you do get inside. There are no signs or posters with instructions or directions. It was not a very pleasant experience.
