Jamaica State Park

Really nice state park for a long walk even in the winter. Dogs allowed off leash under voice command in the offseason. 4 miles round trip to the trail for the waterfall (another mile uphill to the actual falls). Took 2 hours to walk the 4 miles in the snow. Seems popular with cross country skiers and snow shoes.

Went on the 6 mile hike. Pretty cool and a nice payoff. Really like the last mile in. The first two miles are a rail trail, but great for those who are just looking for a nice level walk.

Jamaica State Park is hands down my favorite place to camp! Corey and Molly (the rangers) were extremely warm and helpful. The park has a great hiking path that takes you to the most beautiful waterfall (Hamilton Falls). Next to the park is the most gorgeous homestead (Bee Well Homestead) where we were able to get fresh veggies, handmade soap and honey. All around an amazing experience. Definitely recommend. Will be back

Good nature walk to just relax and clear your head

Beautiful park and facilities. Highly recommend making the hike to the Falls but be prepared if you take the longer hike. Scenery is absolutely spectacular.
