Really enjoyed my time here. The guest house sits on the edge of a gorgeous river. There's a great hiking trail nearby, the vegetarian food is just to die for and swimming in the river is bliss!

This is the perfect place to getaway from everything and be with nature. Swift river is right at your doorstep and there is a nice hike you can do. The town or village is very calm and people are very friendly. They serve realy coffee in the morning :) but dont ask for more than one cup. Breakfast is included - we got fried plantains everyday with dry toast and watery oatmeal. The family cooks a lovely ital dinner (4:30/5pm) for 500 jd. Its pretty good. Beware that this place is really in the middle of nowhere and there is no place to buy food or have access to wifi. Wifi was not a problem if you come to a place like this you want to disconnect anyway. However, not having access to a supermarket was challenging given that there are no restaurants in town. The email we got when we booked the place said we can cook our own food if we want however as soon as i tried to do that the first night i faced reservations from the wife. She let me cook the first night but i was afraid to get in her kitchen after that. Just didnt feel very welcoming. If they dont allow ppl to cook their own food then they should take it out of their email and its only fair to let people know that there is no food available anywhere in town. But i dont think they can expect ppl to come to the middle of nowhere and not be able to feed themselves.
