Pretty location. But, the rooms and grounds need updating. The yoga is done on concrete surface and the yoga matts are very thin/old and worn, bring your own. No screens on door so cockroaches, waterbed, etc critters will come in room if you leave the door open to get the nice ocean breeze. Food consist mostly of local fruits and veggies. The 'juices' are more like thick smoothies. One combination juice in particular made me ill. Had to rest the entire day. We couldn't figure out what didn't agree with me, so I was surprised when they served me the same juice two days later. Obviously I didn't drink it and went without eating. The trip to the falls is nice. We were told you can wear any shoes but that's not true. The hike down is on uneven rocky terrain. avoid flip flop and sandals and wear sneakers. Our yoga instructions varried. My first day was a lovely young woman who practiced yin yoga, just my style as a beginner. but sadly she left after one day, then there was Lion, one of the owners, who really is not a yoga teacher, we only did breath work. the third was a very energetic instructor, too advanced for me, so my participation was minimal. The best part of this retreat for me was the lovely smile of the cook and the two friends I made while there. Actually I left a day early forfeiting my $325 to leave. I had had enough after 6 days.
Greetings and blessings
I have just returned from Go Natural Jamaica. My time at Go Natural was the best time I have given myself in a long time. From the staff to the yoga and meditation to the food and the location and atmosphere everything was perfection. I was greeted by Herfa who immediately made me feel at home. She treated me with such grace and dignity that I never felt less of myself the whole time I was there. She always went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. My yoga skills were less than perfect because I am not a yogi. I never felt bad because Sonya made me feel like I was a pro. All the staff at Go Natural are wonderful people. If you are looking for a place to get in touch with yourself or centre yourself to the universe. This is the place. I hope to return soon with lots of other people.
We had a great time on our trip to Go Natural! I would definitely
recommend for yoga teachers looking to run a retreat!
I had the privilege of spending a week here in paradise. Go Natural has been life changing and exceeded all expectations. From the friendly professional staff, to the outstanding cuisine, to the yoga classes, meditations and workshops and the breathtaking beaches. I loved every single second here and can’t wait to return... next time for a month. If you are looking for a complete package... Go Natural has it all and more!
Thank you one and all for the incredible experience. Blessings, Lynda
I had a truly transformative experience at Go Natural Jamaica and I’m a better person because of it. I feel fortunate to have met everyone, and very grateful for the hospitality we received. The property is breathtaking, overlooking the ocean, with several fruit trees and beautiful plants spread throughout the area. I stayed in September, with my wife, for 4 nights and 3 days. We had the pleasure of staying in the Seafront Villa, which has doors that open right up to views of the ocean, and is only steps away from the private beach. I'm a vegan athlete, and a foodie, so meals for me are both for fuel and fun. Chef Lance and the kitchen staff did an outstanding job preparing delicious, nutrient dense vegan meals and snacks. In addition to the meals being served and presented as delightful creations of edible artwork, each dish came with a history and background of the locally sourced ingredients, often indigenous to Jamaica. Yoga was led by two instructors who traded off between the morning and evening practices. We attended both yoga sessions each day, and they were perfect. Between the serene and healing environment, and the relaxing yet rejuvenating yoga, my wife and I were both challenged in our practice, and recharged after each session. I spend a lot of my time traveling for work, and out of all the places I've ever been, Go Natural Jamaica will forever hold a place in my heart as one of the best experiences of my life. I will most definitely return, and I highly recommend it as a go to destination for anyone wanting to relax and recharge.
