Mikuzi Guesthouse Portland

so... well.... better not. I reserved this place, as the pictures seemed nice and even the reviews weren't that bad. I came and looked and went away. Be aware: the pictures are probably 10 years old. The entire place is super run down, the kitchen was very dirty and broken. you did see that someone cleaned your bed and bathroom but unfortunately everything is so used, it just doesn't get clean anymore or was simply broken. the doors are lockable and the area portland is pretty safe, but it didn't give the vibe to be. Even the guests seemed a bit shady, it was a bit weird. it is around 15 usd a night, so for the budget traveler with absolutely no needs and worries, it can be a place to stay.

When I went to Mikuzi, it was dirty and the fridge was dirty inside and outside. The kitchen sink had food inside the drain. The place needs a good disinfectant. Mikuzi in Portland.

Could have been way better. Bathroom horrible. No one around for assistance should any issues arise and alot of issues arised.

Chad is a super lovely and helpful host. Also his friends. They helped us whenever needed and showed us around. The hostel itself is close to the beach and you feel like you are in the djungle. Super cozy, laid-back, chilling and welcoming.
