This is a very important waterway for the city. It starts in New Kingston and goes through densely populated parts of the city to deposit its wash in the Kingston Harbour. It is an area that has to be closely scrutinised for criminal activity as many parts of this gully can be easily climbed. In addition the very last bridge on Spanish Town road can be treacherous. Vehicles have gone over the railings and plunged into the stony bottom.
