This is the first time that a public library has banned shoes. When I entered without knowing it, the staff stopped me. If you look closely, it is written at the entrance, but it is not noticeable. It serves as a local community center for studying and researching, and for small children to read picture books with their mothers. Is there such a book in the library? I got the correct answer. There are times when it is vacant and times when it is not, and the customer base changes dramatically. Some people have written in the word of mouth that it is not suitable for the low-level customer base in the countryside, but it is unpleasant, so I would appreciate it if you could delete it.

Former Hongo-cho (now Mihara City) is known as a town where the educator Satoshi Ota (1918-2018) established a regional education plan, commonly known as the “Hongo Plan”, with local residents and teachers shortly after the war. Hongo Library also has a Daejeon corner, but it's a pity that there aren't too many collections. There are no shoes in the hall, and you can change to slippers at the entrance.
