This temple is located in Nagano prefecture. It's famous for enshrine a faithful servent dog which has died for his master. You can see the dog sculpture and can buy some amulet about this dog. These pics have been taken in Nov 3 the best timing for autumn leaves. I visited on November 3rd. The autumn leaves in Minami Shinshu usually peak at this time, right? It's the last time I don't need studless tires yet. It is convenient because there are many parking lots near the temple. The approach from the mountain gate to the main hall is short but quaint. It's really beautiful because the main gate, the main hall and the autumn leaves naturally come into view. After visiting the main hall, we recommend taking a walk in the garden. The three-storied pagoda, Buddha statues, and bells make you feel like you are in Little Kyoto. You can enjoy the power of a temple rich in nature.

I stopped by on a bus tour. I didn't have any knowledge about participating from afar, but it's a famous spot, isn't it? The approach was very beautiful and the atmosphere was good. I didn't know during the day, but there are also light moss. Next time, I would like to visit slowly, not on a tour.

The building was wider than I expected and the building feels very historical, but it was a wonderful temple with good cleaning. The Omikuji fortune of the dog that became famous for Laid-Back Camp is on the right side of the approach. It's a pity that the opening time is short, from 9:00 to 16:00.
