A very nice temple, far enough away from Nara Park that it is nice and quiet with few crowds but close enough that it is very easily accessible from Nara station. The temple itself is quite large with several beautiful looking pagodas. Admission was around 1100 yen for access to 4 of the buildings and a little bit more for access to all but as long as you don't mind not going inside the pagodas then the cheaper option is fine as you can still see them up close. Definitely worth the trip from Nara
Gorgeous temple complex accented by many buildings, including two towering pagodas. Extremely helpful staff, too.
A 800 yen ticket that is a lil bit pricey (July 2020). Not a good time for visiting because of some renovation works occured. But, the Pagoda with a tree is the best! Need some time to set the camera angle up (no tripod alllowed) to get the best pict of it.
English explanation for each building is available. You will like it if you have some interesting in Buddha period of Japan. Last, don't forget to explore nearby shrines.
Its very cool i brought my kids there and they too loved it.
