Hibiya Library & Museum

Pretty big. Pretty nice. Has a cafe inside. Had a pretty cool American second with some interesting things there. From what I can tell their minding system is the same to the US (at least arts nonfiction line music is the same number).

Don't know why the Google is nagging me for another review of this Library, since I'm pretty sure I've done so before. Very large library in Hibiya Park, next to the famous building where the guy was assassinated. Rather large collections of English books on the second and third floors. Administration was transferred to Chiyoda Ward a few years ago, but I don't think it helped anything. I usually access it from the Chiyoda Line Station, but this time I use the Marunouchi Line station on the other side of the park which is almost as convenient. Covid-19 countermeasures were very intrusive this time.

First, this library inside is clean. Second, book collection is good. I feel like I’m in a college library. I sit down a chair. And read a book shortly. Light is good to read. You can borrow books if you have a permanent address. Permanent address? Well, I’ve always had permanent address. But I’ve moved address so many times. Maybe my permanent address would be my grave.

Triangle-shaped architecture, very calm library located in Hibiya park. No children book this library, but can use bathroom for baby/kids. There is nursing room on upper floor, but usually rocked - ask staff if you want to use.

Free wifi is available. Various technical books are selected.
