Place this being next to the mall was a smart move. This place is beautiful. A lot of hidden animals. Great ambiance. One of the hidden and amazing things is the digital art on the wall next to the alligator observatory. I caught that by chance but it was a sight to see. You could easily spend a good 2 hours viewing everything. Great place.

This is one of the most amazing museums we've been to in a long time. The aquarium blends technology like a smart app that lets you "collect" animals as you walk around, stunning projection mapping mixed with physical environments and the fish collection, and creative 360 viewing of the creatures above and below. Loved it.

Very nice Aquarium, maybe a little pricey, but nice. Some portions were understandably limited due to COVID-19 ; however, we still had a great time there! Getting E-tickets from their website was painless and you could skip the ticket queue, although when we went the queue looked to only be a few minutes long. The animals all looked well cared for and the tanks good sized for the species. Not as big at the northern aquarium, but close and easy. Attached to a large shopping mall with good food court means this is a fun day!

The good: the enclosure setup was cool. Very good lighting. The bad: this is a tourist trap. Price is too high for the experience. 500 yen more and you can see the aquarium up north and it's much larger. Lack of staff to ensure safety in the open tank area (baby puffer fish are easily touchable). No signs telling you what you were looking at. No warning signs. Not all of the area is open, so you are paying full price for about 75% of the experience. Also, we watched fish in one tank canabalise one of their own because they were starving. All the animals appeared to be hungry. Would not recommend unless you just can't make it up to the better aquarium. And even then, still don't.

This place is really awesome. The decoration around the aquariums, the big tanks with lightings and the spot where you can actually interact a bit with some fish. The bad point is the 2/3 spots where is not fish but animal who live in shockingly small place, that are totally unnecessary, and feel kind of sad. There is also a room where there is some sloth and bird that can roam freely in the room but people really never leave them alone. A part from those room, the rest of the experience is really great. A bit pricey but worth it.
