The shrines keep nice and old wooden surface not cheaply painted like a lot of famous shrines.

This is really more a complex of sacred sites rather than one shrine. There are ancient tombs, shrines to various gods, and a Buddhist pagoda. The last is very rare to find associated with a shrine these days. Even the shrine gate is a rare type. The grounds are quiet and full of nature that you can explore at your leisure, though we couldn't find an office to buy good luck charms and so on. Cherry blossom and autumn leaves season must be beautiful!

I visited at dusk yesterday. The main shrine awaits you as you dive through the Otorii and pass through a divine approach that can be mistaken for a forest. There is also a three-storied pagoda (like it was written as an important cultural property ...) on the far side of the precincts, and there are many attractions and places of worship. There is also a parking lot where about 10 cars can be parked.

A wonderfully calming shrine

It is located outside the center of the former Usuda town, and is said to be a shrine where Shingen Takeda prayed for victory. It is crowded with locals during the year-end and New Year holidays.
