When entering the library information center, disinfection and temperature measurement are required, but many of the libraries are not masked. They are talking next to each other without a mask. The staff does not pay attention. Drinks are possible even under the corona. Disinfection is optional on the first floor, and there is no temperature measurement. Is it because it is a staff member or a store clerk? What is this difference? Meals are OK (of course I don't wear a mask), and the clerk at the store also uses a smartphone without a mask.

A large library in Anforet. The atrium from the 1st floor (not the library) to the 4th floor has a feeling of openness and a good view, but the sounds from other floors are missing. Of particular concern are the sounds from the large LCD signage on the first floor and the sounds from the children's area on the second floor. Drinks with lids (including cup drinks) are OK, and light meals are possible (currently not possible with COVID-19 measures). I think it will be a distraction for reading and learning. These are trade-offs with drawbacks. I think it is difficult to reduce noise due to the design concept of Hakomono and services (complaints are particularly noticeable in the reviews of the Anforet facility itself). Eating and drinking itself causes noise, and I think it is easy for people to have a jarring level of chat. I think that the number of books in the collection is quite large. I think there are many open books. There are many study seats and reading seats. Open until 20:00 on weekdays. I am grateful to the workers who work from morning to evening on weekdays. I feel the strong enthusiasm of the person in charge of planning, so I hope for future improvements and developments. (I will definitely compare it with the Kariya Central Library ...)

There are many books and types, and there are many new books, so it's fun just to spend time in this space! The room is bright and clean, and it is very comfortable with an open space where you can spend your time casually. Favorite place!

I am an Okazaki citizen. I am using the Anjo Library. Above all, there are many collections. There are also industry-specific quarterly magazines for research, job hunting, work with a PC (wifi registration required, power supply available), free parking for 2 hours (3 hours if using the dorm), anything .. Reservation-only facilities are also available. At the moment, we only use it on weekdays, so we can't understand how busy it is on Saturdays and Sundays. Alcohol hand sanitization and temperature measurement are carried out at the entrance.
