Koracho Public Library

It is the former Kora Higashi Elementary School building. Due to the construction of the current school building in the south, the building has been towed and relocated to its current location. The building was built in 1918. It is a cultural property designated by Kora Town. The mayor of Taro Nose at that time spearheaded the construction of the most modern school building in Shiga prefecture, which was made entirely of cypress. At the time of my visit (Tuesday), the museum was closed and I couldn't see the inside. I would like to come back next spring when the weather is nice.
